I really beg to differ with some of these answers regarding these cars. granted the 2.7 is problematic. We just lost the bottom end of our 2003 2.7 in our Sebring, and it looks like coolant was the major factor in causing the damage to the engine.. which only started ticking/rapping 1/2 block from our home. the car has stood up well, the body is in excellent condition (save for the rear door dents from shoppers kids gonging the doors in the parking lot where my wife works) and the interior is flawless. The only work we have done to this car since we bought it in 2004 is 2 sets of brake pads and rotors and a cam sensor, and some new sneakers. The car still has the original factory battery that came with the car new. My wife absolutely loves the car and is the reason why I decided to just rebuild the 2.7 and do the oil changes at 1500 miles with the recommended synthetic oil.
