2003 Sebring LXi 3.0l cold start
On this unit, there is no high idle on a cold start. I replaced the coolant temp sensor to no avail. There is a motor driven vacuum pump on the passenger side fender well that connects to a vacuum actuator on the throttle body. I r/r the vacuum motor, bench tested it and it pumps fine. I connected the vacuum actuator to manifold vacuum, and it operated ok. On a cold start, the vacuum pump does not seem to operate, leaving the engine struggling until it warms up a bit. I have had to increase the idle speed to compensate, which then sets a code for idle out of range. If I set the idle when warm to the factory specs (700 - 800 rpm) it starts and dies when cold. I cannot find any parts diagram, or info on the vacuum actuator connected to the throttle. Any help?
