A friends check engine light came on. I scanned and got a P0202, injector #2 electrical fault. Cleared the fault, started the car and within 3-5 seconds the fault reoccurred. The engine starts and runs fine with no other fault codes, but when the headlights are turned on, several dash indicators flash and it goes dim. If she turns the lights off and back on, everything returns to normal with no other symptoms. Anyone have any idea what may be going on? This is her only vehicle, she lives alone, and can't afford to buy another car.

Battery might be failing. Weird things happen when the battery is weak.

 

Would definitely check the battery. My Malibu battery affected the power steering when it started to go bad!!

 

sounds like a body ground issue
