2004 Sebring Timing
My 2004 Sebring Convertible 2.7 blew the head gaskets from overheating. The cause of the over heating was a bad PCM that did not tell the fans to come on. One of the heads had a broke cam bearing cap so I replaced the heads with the cams from a 2004 Dodge Stratus 2.7 after I had them remachined. I also replaced the water pump, primary timing chain and tensioners.
After putting it back together I kept getting the codes P0344 (Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittant) and P0016. (Crankshaft Position Camshaft Position Coorrelation) I replaced the cam sensor and the crank sensor. Still had the codes. Retimed it several more times and always the same result. Replaced the PCM. Still P0344 and P0016. Any ideas of what else to try would be much appreciated.
