Default 2005 Sebring Convertible - Can the front end be aligned?

I recently had the upper and lower control arms and ball joints replaced on my 2005 Sebring convertible. I knew I would need to have the front end aligned after the work, however my mechanic says he does not see a way where it can be aligned. The control arms have no adjustment area for movement.
I would like any comments, as I see no reason to pay the local tire shop for an alignment they are unable to accomplish.

Normally, it shouldn't need caster or camber adjustment. These are built into the car and unless there was some front end damage, they shouldn't need to be adjusted. If necessary, it's possible to get some adjustment by removing the plastic locating pin on the shock tower and moving the top of the shock in or out for camber and front to back for caster within the limits of the mounting holes for the top of the strut.

Toe-in is adjustable in the usual fashion with the tie-rod ends.
