2006 Sebring Convertible Won't start, display idiot lights, or come out of Park
CORRECTION: It DOES come out of park.
ADDITION: Hoping to reset the computer, I disconnected the battery, left it overnight. But when I reconnected the battery this morning, the situation remains: no idiot light test sequence, nothing happens when the ignition is moved to "start" (no clicking, no cranking, nothing).
----
My 2006 Sebring convertible 2.7L V6 85,000 miles, needed radiator replaced, which I did myself over a few weeks. I disconnected the battery.
Finally got the job done, reconnected battery, started car to see if any leaks. Shut off car. Half hour later, try to re-start and it just 'clicks' like a low battery. Waited a few minutes, then it is completely dead, no response. I brought out my battery charger, the meter showed it drawing 10 amps while charging. A couple hours later, I return, the charger shows that the battery is now fully charged.
WHAT HAPPENS: The interior lights light up as normal when the door is opened. What does NOT happen: no display to check the idiot lights, no response from trying to start the car (won't click or crank).
Does anyone have an idea why a fully-charged battery after reconnection (had been disconnected for two weeks) would cause the idiot lights to not display, the ignition to not work at all (no clicking, no spinning, no response) after it had started and run just a few hours earlier?
Could this be a computer reset problem, after having sat for a couple weeks with the battery disconnected?

Start with checking fuses and circuit breakers. There are two fuse boxes, one under the hood and one behind a panel at the left end of the instrument panel. Are you absolutely sure you didn't connect the battery charger backwards? Get your hands on a code reader and see if any codes show up.
Although I could have made a mistake, I've charged and jumped many cars (I'm from Minnesota) so am pretty sure I connected correctly. I looked through the fuses and did not find any that are blown. Is there a way to test the relays? I had a code reader, but it was stolen (woe upon woe) but will try to get codes read.
I did try to "jump" the car to see if there is any issue about not having enough power, but that changed nothing. The headlights and taillights look properly bright. When I turn the ignition to RUN the only idiot light that is displayed is the oil light, and the information display shows an "outside temperature" of -40 degrees. When turned to "START", the oil light and information display drop out, but there is no other response of any kind; no clicking, no turning, nothing. The radio does not play.
I cannot figure out what might be the problem, which is extremely frustrating.
