Is there any way to load test the battery without having to take it out? Was curious if you can use the same post to load test that you can jump it from. Might be a dumb question sorry.

Agree'd, BUT if you have corroded battery terminal connections it will show up as a lower reading(dying battery). A real pain to get at, especially in winter conditions, but I like the old saying ...GO TO THE SOURCE for most reliable testing results.
