Default 2007 Electrical PCM problem--help please?

My 18-year-old daughter has a 2007 with about 67k miles with an interesting problem. Occasionally when she tries to go somewhere there will be no power to anything. Or sometimes there will be power until she tries to turn the key and then everything will die. However, if she opens the hood and jostles the PCM/fusebox power will come back and everything's fine. There have been no problems while she's driving, only this loss-of-power problem. We've got an appointment with a trusted mechanic, but I'd appreciate any info you might be able to help me with!!

if it is a PCM it would be covered under 8 years or 80 k warranty from the dealer .

Default garantee pcm

Hello,
i'm a new member of this community. I subscribed because i have a faulty pcm in my Chrysler Voyager 3.3 V6 auto from 2005. I read in this forum there is a warranty or garanty of 8 years to a pcm from Chrysler. Is that correct? Can somebody confirm this?

thank you

Well, in USA there is a 8 year/80,000 mile federally (government) mandated emissions warranty on PCMs. In your country I have no idea. Check with the govt agency in your country that regulates emissions standards.
