2007 Sebring 4Cyl - 700 and 760 OBD Codes
I am getting 700 and 760 codes on my 2007 Sebring, stuck in limp mode (won't come out of 2nd gear).
I looked up the codes and it pointed to a Solenoid pack which I changed to no avail, still same symptoms.
I then bought a multimeter and checked the continuity between pins 4 and 6 of both the old solenoid pack and the replacement. Both registered about 3.5 ohms.
I then disconnected the C1 and C2 connectors from the PCM and checked the resistance between pin 77 on C2 and pin 5 on C1. Resistance showed approximately the same as when just testing the pins on the solenoid pack itself.
To me this says that the solenoid pack and the cables are working correctly and that I should look to replacing the PCM at this point.
Am I looking in the wrong direction at this point?
Thanks,
Shane
