Default 2007 Sebring - rear door locks

The door locks seems to works as designed (for the most part) but when the rear passengers want to get out they have to lift up on the door lock ****. Unlike the front doors where you simply pull the door lever and the door **** pops up and you get out.

This isn't a big deal but is that normal is it a safety feature or do I need to do something?

From my experience, the rear doors of chryslers do not automatically unlock when the handle is pulled. What you describe is normal and I am not aware of any workaround.
