2008 Sebring cooling upgrades...
Does anyone know if the Mishimoto "MMRAD-EVO-10" Lancer radiator is a direct fit for the Sebring?
Cores are the same size, chassis is the same, and hose input/output looks close enough to make work...

I ordered the Mishimoto MMTS-WRA-03L thermostat... figured I would go with the 180° version to keep the computer happy. Pretty sure the transmission computer uses temperature signals, too... and I don't want to have the computers searching for logic because it took "too long" to get to temperature. Or whatever other side-effects a 160° thermostat may have on an otherwise factory motor.
When I get a chance to have the thing tuned, I may throw in a 160° thermostat and see how much timing they can squeeze into the tune... in theory a cooler engine should have a touch more detonation resistance. Doubt the thermostat honestly makes much of a difference, either way.
I will pick up a new thermostat housing, gasket, and '09+ heater hose when I finish the front brakes. Still haven't gotten any closer to finding out if the Evo radiator fits, though. Might have to find a place that has both an Evo and a Sebring radiator in stock so I can personally see them in juxtaposition.

The thermostat housing arrived today.
I pirated the seal off the thermostat that came with the housing, and put it on the Mishimoto 180° thermostat I bought earlier (since it didn't come with a seal). Everything appears to be of the correct size. We will see...
I got the new heater hoses, too. They arrived a while ago. Still debating replacing all the radiator hoses while I'm in there. Probably should just to be thorough. That would be everything going to/from the new thermostat housing.
Going to have to wait a while for a new radiator... for one, it does not currently need a new radiator. What it has is working fine for right meow. And, I want to figure out a dedicated transmission cooler solution before trying the Mishimoto radiator.

Mishimoto 160° thermostat came in... apparently this has two of them. So I am putting the 180° I bought earlier as the secondary, and this 160° as the primary. That way there is still a high and low difference between the two thermostats... just both are each about 20° cooler than the ones they are replacing.
Stuck a new coolant temp sensor in housing, too, while I was messing with it. We will see how it goes.
