Default 2010 Sebring Electrical Problem

My 2010 Sebring's interior dash and convenience lights will start flickering right when the car is started. I have also noticed that this might be accompanied by poor engine idle as the car has stalled when this condition is present. Tonight I started the car, the lights started flickering and I stepped on the throttle a bit with the tranny in park but got almost no increase in RPM (maybe up to 1800 RPM). I restarted the car and all was well again. These problems are intermittent so I am not yet willing to drop it off at the dealer so they can tell me that can't find anything wrong. Potential root causes I have thought about are bad ground, gas, alternator, PCM or loose wiring. Thoughts Suggestions

Get your battery tested. Post the results if you can. Modules will react in strange ways when underpowered.

I never had an OEM battery fail at 13 months 8300 miles but it makes sense to eliminate the easy possibilities first. I suppose a cell could be in the process of going bad.

You're still under warranty aren't you? Take it in and tell them to fix it. Get on record with the problem sooner rather tham later.

agreed, I will take it in and at least have my description of the problem on record. If they can reproduce and resolve this I will post back with the resolution. It's always nice to be armed with the problem and the fix when dropping your car off at the dealer ...... i guess that's what I was searching for. Electrical problems on a new car scare the crap out of me. My chevy's had warranty work but it was cut and try like an intermediate steering shaft or a broken strut. This is my first new Chrysler product and I really want it to be a good experience so I can shop them as I have with GM and Ford over the years. The 2010 Sebring is a decent car, great for the price, It has some flaws but they all do.
Thanks for the input!

OK the dealer is punting on this issue. Even though these issues appeared 2 weeks ago Chrysler says they are normal. The throttle not responding in Park is due to a thermal switch not activating and the lights flickering are due to the alternator and the new HID lights even though some of the lights such as the ones under the visor are incandescent. Basically they don't want to fix it. Where do I go from here. The car has stalled as a result of these issues but they don't seem to care. Where do I go from here?
