2012 chrysler 200

in the dash where the mileage shows there's a ( no fuse ) message I've check the iOd fuse under the hood both are good . the key fob will not open or lock the doors and the panic button doesn't work . the locks work fine from the door pannel

other hits on google have been solved exactly by either replacing or re-seating the IoD, how did you make sure the fuse has no fault ?

testing fuse

I checked it out of the car with a ohm meter and also used a jumper wire to make sure it was connecting on the car still nothing.

That's a good diagnostic.

Hmm.. not sure here, because these are the "typical" IoD symptoms, but your fuse seems to have no fault.

In your place, I'd try and reset the ECU/PCM , either by clearing codes with a scanner, or having the main car battery (-) terminal off for 30 minutes.

Then see if the "no fuse" prompt returns right away after the battery has been hooked back up, or if it takes a while.

the scanner ( snap on brand ) shows no codes .. ill try taking the barrety loose for 30 minutes

another idea is giving a call to your local dealership, they'll tell you the obvious answer, (iod), but maybe they know of another culprit.

They must have dealt with this by now.

such a helpful bunch really...

Being you're in desperate land at this point, and no other solutions other than IoD replacement show up on Google.

Again, it's just thinking what I'd do in your place, I'd get a hold of another similar fuse and replace it (even though there's nothing wrong with it), and see what happens.

Pretty silly idea, but - you have to consider the options...

BTW, did you manage to unplug the battery for 30 minutes ?
