Hope you can help me I'm having issues with a warning on the odometer saying "gascap" I checked to see if it was secure and it was,then after about 25 kilometers the "check engine" warning light came on, then the next day I tried to start the car using the "Remote start" due to cold weather after about 30 seconds the car had stopped running and it was showing a fault in the "remote start" function, are these in any way connected? I hope you can help me out with this problem as I am often called out in the night and have difficulty getting to a Chrysler dealer.

There's only one sure way to know what's gong on and that's to get your car hooked up to a code reader and find out what error codes are stored in the computer. There's no point in somebody offering guesses when the answers are there to be read.

If you can't get to a dealership, try going to an auto parts store and see if they will read your error codes. Many places will read the codes for free in the hope of selling you some parts. It might be something simple like a weak battery but it could be something more serious like a failing computer.
