2013 chrysler 200 brake issue
 

So, the other day the brakes went out in my chrysler 200. I figured out it waa the driver side rear caliper, so I replaced it and for some reason when I press on the brake pedal, the caliper does nothing. I opened up the bleeder valve and it seems that the fluid is not going coming out as fast as it should without forcing it, its barely a drip. In asking here first before I go into buying more parts, I was thinking it needed a new brake hose, but I just want some opinions on it first. This is the first time ive ever had this issue. Also I did fill up the MC with brake fluid before trying to pump the brakes.

Try disconnecting the hose at the car end and pumping the pedal. If you have flow, then re-connect and disconnect at the caliper end and try pumping again. If no flow at that time, the problem is the hose. If no flow the first time, may be a plugged, kinked brake line. I had a similar problem a number of years ago on a front caliper on a minivan. The hose was plugged and would let a little fluid flow to the caliper but not return. Not sure how that comes to be but replacing the hose cured the problem.
