Default 3.5L transverse engine removal

I cannot find any definitive information on how to remove the 3.5L engine from my 2007 Sebring Limited. This is a "M" code on the VIN tag. It is mounted transverse, NOT inline. Automatic transmission. Timing belt broke and damaged valves on both banks. So I want to pull the engine to either rework the heads or just swap in a different engine. Thanks in advance.

yours should be NO DIFFERENT than the 08-10 3.5 Avenger/200 models. Same platform, same process. A lot depends on what equipment you have to work with, Many techs would rather drop out the front sub frame and remove engine/trans as a unit for such repairs as you describe.
Good Luck!

Rebel59- Thanks for your quick response. I do not have access to a car lift but I do have a good engine hoist. I was hoping lifting the engine was a possible solution. I'll investigate the Averger/200 forums. I was not aware they were similar platforms. Seem these 3.5 Sebring's are few.
