Default 96 Sebring - won't start after parked on hill!

I'm a little confused by this one...hopefully no one in San Francisco has a demon in their Sebring like mine...I have a 96 Sebring LXI coupe that I parked on a hill in my driveway and it wouldn't start. It would turn over like it had no compression, then if it did fire, it would idle rough for a few seconds and die. I let it sit for several hours and tried to start it again and it fired right up like nothing ever happened. That was a year or so ago. Well, it was jacked up over the weekend having a tire repaired (it sat jacked up for two days) and yesterday when I tried to start it, same thing! Is there an oilsensor or something that prevents it from running if it can't find the oil in the pan? Has anyone else had this problem??
