Default 98 Chrysler Sebring, multiple problems

Hello! So I've been having a few minor problems with my Sebring and need some help fixing them.

1) Everytime when I'm driving and hit a pothole or something, the interior lights flash off and on, the door ajar sign comes on, and the car keeps locking and unlocking itself. What can I do??
2) My headlights keep flashing overnight, it's happened two nights in a row. What could be the issue?
3) My horn is not connected and I can't find anyone who knows how to do it, can someone help?
4) How do I get the cigarette lighter working? It hasn't worked ever since I bought the car from someone.
Thank you

1. You probably have a defective or improperly adjusted door switch. The switch that turns on the interior light when you open the door is in the door latch. Replacing the latch may solve the problem. It could also be that with a car that's 19 years old, body and frame corrosion has weakened the structure to the point that any severe jolt moves the door so much that the switch thinks that the door has opened.

2. Not sure what's going on there. Could be a problem with the body control module (body computer) or some frayed wire somewhere.

3. Most likely it's the "clockspring" in the steering column. This is a wire that is shaped like a clockspring to allow a connection from the steering wheel horn buttons and the rest of the electrical system. Could also be the horn relay or the horns themselves.

4. Is it the lighter itself or is it the socket that the lighter fits into? If it's just the lighter, go to an auto parts store and buy a replacement. If the socket is dead, you'll have to trace down the wiring to find out why.

Spend a few bucks on a Haynes manual for your model and year and see if you can figure out how to fix some of these things yourself. It'll be a rewarding experience.
