Air only blows out of defroster vents 2005 Sebring
Took it to a dealer and they charged me $108 to tell me that the problem was NOT the computer. That I would have to remove the dash to physically check the actuator doors for functionallity. Their charge was $1200 to remove the dash for any reason... So any help on how to remove the dash to gain access to the vent switches is appreciated... This problem is VERY annoying and fogs up the windsheild which greatly reduces visiabilty... the air blows cold and all esle seems to be fine

Likely source of the problem is the control head. That's the part where the control ***** are located. You can remove it yourself very easily. They come up on eBay with some regularity so they are easily found as used parts. The part was used on Sebrings and Dodge Stratus model years 2001-2006, so it's a common part.
To remove it, just pop off the fake wood trim piece that surrounds it. Pull from the bottom straight out with your fingers, then pry it carefully away from the dash. It's best to use a plastic trim tool, but you can probably do it with a wooden or plastic paint stirrer. Don't be scared by the loud snapping noises made by the clips as they come out.
Then reach around the back of the piece and disconnect the plugs back there. It's out. You can probably find a used replacement part (including the trim piece) for about $50 or so. If it works, you're done. If not, you may have to go the expensive route, but you haven't lost much.
If yours has ATC, the part is going to be harder to find.

thanks for the tip, but unfortunately, I had already had the control head tested and it worked like a champ... frustrated by the fog on the windsheild... I stared my quest to dismantle my dash... lol... it was actually pretty simple, 10 maybe 15 screws and I could see everything I needed... I turned the direction **** a few times till I saw something move and attacked it... I followed the little arm and saw it was TRYING to rotate the arm but couldn't for some reason, so I reached in and gave it a stiff push... woolah... air in the vents... I guess it was rusted, the car had been sitting for 2 years... either way... I tested it a few more times and replaced the seals where ever I felt leaking air... and reassembled the dash
