ASD relay help (researched)
2002 chrysler sebring coupe 2.4l.
So, I replaced the heater core for my brother in law. Car started and ran fine before I did this work. I had to take out the dash, air bags etc. After completing the work, the car won't start. I do not hear the fuel pump. So I assume that after the air bags were removed some sort of security system kicked in and shut off the fuel system, perhaps assuming there was an accident? After some research I came to the conclusion that the ASD relay was tripped or bad. I replaced it, and still the problem persists. I power tested the wires going to the relay and they are getting power so I assume that isn't the issue after I had replaced it with a brand new one. I got an OBD diagnostic trouble code P1610, and I do not know what to make of that as is is supposed to mean "P1610 MAIN RELAY HIGH VOLTAGE" per this site...
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) - P1610 MAIN RELAY HIGH VOLTAGE
I cannot find out what the problem is at all now. After some research on the P1610 code I found that maybe there is some relation to the SKIM system, but I have no idea how that would be related to me removing the dash and replacing the heater core, nor how to even start if it were the issue. I'm out of ideas at this point and anything would help!

Done 2x already. Though is there some specific plug you know could be an issue? I don't see how blower motor, radio, heat/ac controls, cluster etc. would cause an issue of that nature, i.e. causing the fuel pump not to work.

Keep Looking is the right answer
I spent a lot of money chasing down a bad connection in my ASD relay. It left me sitting frequently during this time. In my case the ASD was located on the firewall in the engine compartment and had simply been loosened, becoming corroded. Finding it is the bugger though. Trial and error, over and over. I am the one who found and fixed it though. None of the shops had a clue. After that I went over every connection I could reach throughout the entire vehicle and ensured their operation. With the exception of a recurring alarm problem, the car runs great, electrically speaking.

Please don't question my veracity because some mechanics were incompetent.

the 2 door coupe is a Mitsubishi brand with a Chrysler logo not really a Chrysler and I was not questing anything they simply do not put ASD relays on the firewall. This guys issue above he took the dash out and did not connect something back up simple.
