Default Battery Change on 2009 Sebring

Chrysler,

You need to fire the genius that designed the placement of the battery. What should have been a 5 minute job to swap out a battery became a 1.5 hour job. Who the hell decided to place the battery in the left wheel well, and subject it to salt, dirt, and grime? To replace the battery required removing the left front wheel, wheel well cover, and gingerly squeezing big hands into to smal space with a cocket wrench to remove the battery.

Also, fire the person who wrote the user manual that said the wheel does NOT need to be removed to access and change the battery. The only way this could have been done was to partially remove the left bumper. I did not want to risk body damage so I jacked the car up and remove the wheel.

Shame on you Chrysler idiots. Never again wiull I buy these crappy cars.

There is lots of room in the sebring trunk for a battery, except maybe the convertible.

My battery has been in there since Oct 2008... should be fun to get out.
