Black smoke only starts with pedel to floor

!996 Seabring intermittnly cuts out and will ony restart with pedel to the floor then black stinky smoke no codes

Any sugestions

Sounds like my 1960 T-Bird used to act when it needed new points.

Could be a sign of a weak spark. Check plugs and wires. May need to replace the distributor.
