Default Cylinder 4 PSI low leaking exhaust back into the intake

I have a 1996 Sebring LX with the 2.5 V6 My engine started acting up and I took it in. The guy told me that my PSI in cylinder # 4 is 95 PSI and all the other Cylinders are 210. He told be the reason why the car is idleing low and running weird is because the cylinder is shooting exhaust back into my intake. He said the tempurature for my intake is 260 when it is suppose to be 190. The estimate he game me was approximately 1,000$ for 11 hours of labor to get into the cylinder. Does anyone know what could be wrong? He said he took off the valve cover and the valves werent sticking and the lifters and camshaft were fine. The car has 160,000 miles on it. Also is this a correct estimate.

Sounds like a burned valve to me. 11 hours doesn't sound out of line.
