Fcd
Hi all.
Is anyone on this forum an actual FCD employee that can answer a question for me.
I have a 2004 Sebring which l fitted the DLR module to and now need my cars country code changed to Canada to make it work.
This is a 5 minute job with the OBD 111, I have read that some dealers refuse to do this change (they say FCD wont let them) while others will do the change.
My local Orlando dealer is in the first lot... although they said at first if the car has the module they can, then said that they are not allowed to change the country code.

Ask around at other repair facilities. A large repair shop may have an OBD3 machine. They are quite expensive and a gas station or small shop isn't likely to have one but a large shop might. If they are not attached to Chrysler they probably would have no qualms about helping you out.
Thanks for the Help and info..
But after calling 5 dealers, 1 said they wont do it as its against FCD rules (WTF) 1 said bring it over, 1/2 hr min labor (of course it was the farthest away) LOL
1 called back an said they could try, after l had had already done it. And 2 didn't call back.
So for the 2 minute job you should call around and hopefully 1 dealer will do it for you..
So total cost to get DLR workong on my Sebring was $100.00 for the plug in module, $90.00 for the switch over to Canada and gas ?? .....
All done and works as should.
