Default Front End Noise

Help Please-I have a 2006 Sebring with 2.7When I start engine and hold brakes to shift trans to reverse or drive there is a noise coming from (I Think) from the pedal or brakesIf you stand outside you can't hear anything - only if your in drivers seat can you hear the noise when you shift while holding brakesmakes no difference if its cold or hot

Yeah, normal, called the shift interlock releasing the shifter so you move it out of P.
