Heated seats question

Default Heated seats question

My 2002 Sebring has the heated seats option. The drivers side seat does not heat any more. I changed the fuse to no avail.
Is there a separate heater for the seat back and the seat cushion? Are they series wired so both croak if one burns out?

get the ohm meter and chk across the lower and the upper wires see if they are open
