I have a Sebring 2001 Convertible Limited.

I've read other posts about the problems with the fan speed control (speeds 1-3). I purchased the resistor.

I can't figure out how to get at the under dash location which I understand is on the passenger side.

I've tried to lower the glove box byt depressing the rear sides but there are what appear to be rollers that don't compress/depress and are in the way.

The appear the be no screws or latches to pull off the bottom of the glove box or the horizontal foot kick trim panel. There is one bolt and nut recessed into the foot panel below the glove box. I didn't want to mess around with something that I'll regret later.

I'm mechanical and can do this but I need a clue where to start.

the lower cover on the pass side comes out 2 push pins and it will come out

I can't find the pins you mention but looking at the bottom of the glove box cover I see 3 hinges. The middle one looks to have no access but the end hinges have holes.
Is the right place to look?
if so, do I poke a small screw drive tip in a hole or slide something horizontally, or what?
