Help!! water leak no source
 

Hello,
I recently purchased a 2003 sebring lx coupe w/ moonroof. I noticed floor was damp on drivers side early on and assumed it was moonroof leak or someone left something open. After a week of dry weather I noticed it was still damp. Early one morning car was covered in dew and drivers side floor was wet again. Then it rained next day and floor was soaked. I have searched high and low inside cannot determine where this water is coming in at. Moonroof is dry during storms, door doesn't have any signs of leaks. carpet is wet twards the front left side of drivers foot area which leads me to believe it is coming in door jam area or under dash/vent area????? All gaskets appear to be in great shape? Does anyone know of this problem? I have a coworker w/ a 2001 convertable with same problem. I think his is more related to having a rag top though. Please help me here....I open to any suggestions. Thanks

The drains could be plugged or pinched, is the sunroof factory or aftermarket?

Drains? Where do they drain from and where canI find access to them? Does the water normally drain through the floor area? I can't understand the thought behind this. If the drain is pinched or plugged up, then water builds up on my drivers side floor? Is it building up somewhere else then overflowing into driving compartment?

You should have two drain going down the A-Pillars and two for the rear, C-Pillars.

With my 2004 Sebring Convertible passenger side floor leak it was related to the air conditioning condensate drain. Water can cling to the underside of the discharge tube concealed by the rubber boot/drain tube. The water accumulates inside the boot and flows back into the car through the firewall. Apparently whatever gasket is at the firewall fails over time. I solved it by removing the boot and attaching a 5/8" i.d. hose to the discharge pipe and ran it below the frame.
