How to Care for your top
I recently bought a used 97 chrysler sebring JXi and I love it!! It was in great condition since the guy i bought it from kept it in his garage and rarely drove it. 88,000 miles.
I want to keep it that nice, but I live in the desert and I have no garage.
I bough a UV blocker, water resistant car cover that I always put on it.
But..I need to know, How should I care for my top? what sort of products? How do I wash it?
etc... should I worry about rain?
I want to keep this car looking as good as it did when i bought it. Please help.

RE: How to Care for your top
Sounds like you have a good start with covering the car when not using it.
As for rain, just make sure you let the top dry before dropping the top. There isn't anything you need to do in prep for rain, other than keep the top up.
On products to keep it clean and looking good. 303 protectant (for cloth) is a good product to keep it new.
Keep the weather seals maintained with a silicon protectant. If those get brittle, then you'll start developing leaks.
Also, keep the windows properly working and aligned with the top. This will help keeping things dry inside.
Nice pickup! 97 JXi with only 88k mi.
Good luck!
