Default idling issue

09' 4 cylinder, just passed 6.5K. When starting, the tachometer surges to 1800, then takes a few minutes to reduce to around 750-800. Is this normal or should I take it in? My other vehicle doesn't do this. Thank you.

It should reduce idle speed in perhaps a minute, not "a few minutes". Take it in, it's still under warranty.
