Question New throttle body assembly 2007 Sebring

I was gonna install a New throttle body assembly but I've heard that if i do i won't be able to start or move the car because it needs the throttle positioning sensor and ecm recalibrated...My question is if i buy a aftermarket chip and programmer will this recaliibrate my fuel management system...

ok thanks for the input...What about a New ecm/pcm that is already programmed???? I'm trying all these New parts to try to mitigate a problem I've had with the etc light coming on, i think it's a problem with the throttle positioning sensor and the relay to the ecm..

Seems like you're going to spend more money trying to avoid the recalibration than you could possibly spend having the recalibration done, even if you had to have the car towed in.

The dealer may not be the only guy in town with the right equipment. Quality repair shops may also have a DRB III and know how to use it.

ok it seams we haft to go through this every few months.
A dealer is not Chrysler they sell and fix Chrysler products they don't make them.

If u buy TV from best buy u are buying it from best buy but they don't make the TV right? right. SO Best buy will warranty out an issue with the TV because u got it from them but any defect in the product is not best buys fault that would be the maker of that TV and in this case Chrysler makes the cars and the dealer sells and fixes them so any defect in a part a dealer is not the one to blame for it nor is the reason why a dealer will or will not fix something for free.

DRB III won't work on a 2007 ETC. Call and ask how much for an "ETC Relearn/Calibration". I take it you have an aftermarket PCM that probably has the VIN and software programmed in it. There is a possibility that they will need to re-program the tire size in the TIPM so that your speedo will work. When modules get changed sometimes it loses the setting.
