Question p0175 code with vibration - 2004 chrysler sebring

Hi everyone, a little over a month ago I bought my first car which is a 2004 chrysler sebring and it is giving me a few problems. After about 2 weeks of owning it, the engine light came on and we got it diagnosed. Turns out, the thermostat needed to be replaces. So my aunt's boyfriend replaced the thermostat and the oxygen sensor now for me 2 days ago, but he couldn't clear the engine light. I just got the car back yesterday and we decided to give it a test to see if it got fixed. Well I think I see why the engine light did not clear.

When we were coming home, the car started vibrating everytime we were idling at a stop. Then the engine light started flashing! We pulled into Autozone and got a diagnostic and two codes came up. p0172 and p0175. They said that it was the fuel injector causing the problem, and that it is causing the thermostat to go off as well. They told me not to drive it so I had it towed home, but my aunt and her boyfriend told me it was going to do it. They said it is probably just a cylinder misfiring, and that I should not worry about it. Even a friend of ours who owns a sebring said her's does it as well, but I am worried.

What could this be? The car only vibrates at stops, the engine light is still flashing, and those codes still come up. Please help me, I just want my car fixed and I am tired of letting it sit outside to mock me. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think it may be the MAP sensor, but I ran into another issue. I just noticed that the engine is moving quite a bit. Not like rocking but it's moving up and down as the car moves and it's vibrating pretty bad. Could the movement back and forth cause something to be caught or pinched and it's causing it to vibrate?

It started happening after the O2 sensor was installed, I don't know what brand. I just found out that my engine mounts need to be replaced so I will get this done first and see what happens after.

There are four O2 sensors in the 2.7 liter engine. They are located upstream and downstream of the two catalytic converters. They work in pairs. As they age, the computer makes adjustments for their age. You keep making reference to replacing the O2 "sensor", as if he replaced only one. The computer may be confused with one brand new sensor in there. Also, people have had bad results with Bosch O2 sensors in Chrysler vehicles for some reason.

Also, don't confuse the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor with the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. They are not the same thing.

I am going to replace the engine mounts first before I do anything else. When I shift my gears, my engine shifts around and clunks the sides of the car.

Good idea. It shouldn't be doing that.
