Default P1139...and others

I just installed a new engine my car and now it won't start. The car has a 2.7l dohc, just give you a little description of the car. Everytime I go to turn the ignition, a fuse blows. I've checked the codes and came up with P1139. I've did some research and saw a suggestion where it said to remove the fuel pump relay and see if it blows then. If it doesn't then to change the fuel pump. Does that sound about right or what?

it sounds like U should get a wire diagram find that fuse in there and see all of what is powered up by it then go trace some wires that U more then likely have grounded to metal.

So you think something is grounded out rather than something like the fuel pump being bad or something?

You can see what things are controlled by certain fuses by looking in your owners manual and by looking at the underside of the cover to the fuse box. You might get lucky and find what you need at this site:

Car Alarm, Car Stereo, Mobile Video, and Cruise Control Info for Installers

If not, the service manual has a very large section on wiring diagrams. Are you saying you did an engine swap and don't know where to find this stuff?
