can someone help with a part number for subject part? tried looking on rock auto and parts geek but listed several with different part numbers. i can't tell which is correct. i need to order one.

Why do you need a part number to order a part? Go to the parts counter at the dealership, describe what you want and they will look up the part and order it for you. Aftermarket parts are similarly ordered at a parts store or online parts distributor. I have ordered many, many parts for various cars and never once needed a part number. Be complete with your description including year, make, model and color and you'll get what you want.

Correct. The part department at the dealership does. They can order the part for you.
