Default Passenger seat stuck

My 2005 passenger seat won't move forward or backward, but the seatback will recline and move forward all the way. The release bar will move and I can see where the locking pins seem to be pulled away from the rails. Just will not slide forward so I can get a suitcase or baby seat easily loaded into the rear seat. Seat does not have even a little play in it--no movement at all. Now out of warranty, the dealer wants $85 for the diagnostic visit.
Any thoughts on where to look to locate whatever is causing the obstruction?
Thanks.

Fairly simple to remove the seat. Bolt at each corner of seat total of 4 removed with socket. Unplug seatbelt connector and take seat out of car. Turn the seat upside down and take a look. Something could be lodged or loose. Possibly needs lubricant but unlikely.

Make sure you tighten all 4 bolts when reinstalling.

If you are moderately mechanical easy job.

Good luck.

Look for coinage in the tracks. That's what I usually find.
