I have an issue with the radio and blinking equalizer lights. This appearred to initially be heat related as the radio would seem to work sporadically. During hot weather the radio would not work or illuminate; after driving and cooling down, the radio would work again. After about a month of this intermittent issue, the radio no longer works at all, but the 3 equalizer lights flash continuosly. I have heard everything from a dead radio; a bad micro-processor, to a bad soldering connection, and a bad connection to the dimmer switch. This is a 4 cd changer with am/fm cassette in a 2001 sebring convertible limited. Please help! Thanks

 

Which part does not work right the radio or cd changer they are seperate only connected by a cable.

 

I believe it is the radio only. The CD appears to frunction, (loads, ejects, etc)but without the radio there is no sound. Thanks for replying.
