rear defrost clip fell off

Default rear defrost clip fell off

The rear defrost clip fell off one side of the window on my convertable top . Does any one know the best way to re apply the clip to the window thanks Scott

The shop manual says you should use conductive epoxy to glue it back on. It's the same stuff you use to repair the lines on the glass for the defroster, available at any parts store.
On the other hand, when mine fell off, I pulled the terminal out of the plug, put it back into place, held it there with the tip of my soldering gun and applied heat from the gun until the old solder melted. Bingo. Took about 10 seconds of heat.
