Remove Intake Manifold Replace EGR Valve lx coupe 2.4l
Can anyone tell me how to remove the intake manifold off of a 2.4l sebring coupe? Trying to replace EGR Valve. Not very savvy with things like this on cars. Just a typical change oil and spark plugs kind of person. How hard would it be to do this? Bought a Haynes manual which blows ***!

Did you look in Chapter 6 of the Haynes manual? They have lots of pictures and instructions pertinent to removal of the EGR valve from the 2.4 L engine. It is not necessary to remove the intake manifold.

My Haynes has detailed instructions (but no pictures) for removing the intake manifold of the 2.4L SOHC engine in Chapter 2A, section 5.
About half way through the steps you get to "Remove the EGR valve", so I guess you can stop at that point.
