Default Repairs now codes and check engine light

Just had major repairs now just 75 miles later check engine light came on and have replaced bad battery, have replaced key fob battery and replaced gas cap. Is it possible codes were never erased after repairs and should erase to see if they return.

ok take it back to who u had the major repairs done and let them see if its something they did. The evap leak could be a hose disconnected or a line broken bent or a crank is any rubber hose in that system.
The 1684 code just says that the battery has been disconnected thats all.

if there was not a code there before hand then I would say a good chance of that issue. Have them recheck there work
