Default Sebring 2.7: How much mileage for Alternator replacement?

Hi,

My 2003 sebring 2.7 is arriving to 62.000 miles (100.000 kilometers). I'm thinking it's time for an alternator replacement. What do you think? What brand/type could be a good choice?.

Thanks for any ideas/comments,

Denis V.

What? Never heard of that in my life.
Timing belts, yes. Alternators, no.

If you want to do some maintenance at 60,000 miles, replace the transmission fluid. It will be a much better investment than a new alternator.
