have 2001 sebring that has been having trans issues replaced clockspring and has been doing great untill last nite check eng lite came on,I eng turned off went to start and all lights on dash came on turned key to start and silence, no click ,nothing headlights bright thru all this

 

huh??? trans issue clock spring no start check engine light?? what are we talking about here?

 

4 months ago, the "check engine light" came on, found out by code the clock spring needed to be replaced,( there was no air bags ,cruise control did not work, horn did not work, would NOT shift). Thus 4 weeks ago, I replaced clockspring, and after.. it all started working, until 2 nights ago. I tried to start the car, check engine light came back on, battery was ok, lights working... but again it would not start...will not turn over. Any idea would be appreciated.

 

the check engine light will not come on because of an air bag issue what are the codes in the engine computer?

 

When the clockspring broke it disabled the air bag, the cruise control, and the horn. I have replaced the clockspring and all was well.
The engine light came on while driving and after I shut motor off, it will not crank,the usual dash lights come on and go out when I turn key to start position. Nothing happens,no click,no crank,nothing

the codes that computer on car is p0700

 

ahh i know this game u give all kinda info and is irrelevant to what U want to have fixed ok. The air bag stuff throw out the window. what engine size do u have and how many miles are on it?

 

the engine that won't start is 2.7 70154 miles on it if you can't help or don't know, thank you for your information

 

first what are the codes in the engine computer U said the lite came on.

that means nothing its a generic transmission code I think u need to take it to some one
