Default Strange puddle

After running my ac for a few hours I’ll always notice the next day there’s standing water behind the passenger seat. It’s not a lot of water but it’s enough to get your attention.

The water doesn’t smell bad or anything I’m just confused. I have a 06 Sebring with 106k

IF you actually mean that the water is on the pass side floor under the dash area, then I would suggest that the a/c drain hose is blocked from debris. Water formed by the a/c operation will back up and run into the interior.

No it’s not under the dash. Say you were sitting in the back seat on the passenger side, where your feet would be is where the puddle is

Where is the drain hose exactly?

Look in the engine compartment, on the firewall on the passenger side (assuming left-hand drive). Look for a small hose that comes out of the firewall and just ends. That's the drain hose. Try massaging it to open up the end and let the crud in there fall out. You can get small leaves, dead bugs and dirt stuck in there to the point the water can't get out. You might need to stick something up into the hose to work out the crud.

You'll want to dry the carpet one the drain is clear. After using a wet-dry vac as well as you can, run a small fan in the car over several nights to get the carpet completely dry.
