Default Are There Bulbs In There?

Are the cruise control switches on the steering wheel supposed to light up at night? I've looked through the owners manual under bulb replacement and there's no mention of them. I'm assuming that the plastic ring around the ignition key should also be lit? My car is a 2005 Sebring base model with the 2.4L (X-code engine). Just thought I'd ask before taking things apart.

No and no. I guess they expected that you would memorize the buttons' functions during daylight driving or that you wouldn't use the cruise at night.
