I have a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, it has 289,400 miles on it. I has a 3.6L 283 horse power with 260 fp torque (Engine code G), it also has a DG2 transmission. I am starting to shop for a donor vehicle to replace my drive train. I have a local 2012 Chrysler 200 with the same Engine code and specs, and the same transmission code DG2.

What I am confused about is the tech spec sheet on the 200 says Trans Order Code = DG2 Trans Type = 6 4.0 min 6.0 max and the Caravan has Trans Order Code = DG2 Trans Type 6 6.0 min 6.0 max.

What does the min/max refer to?

Does the same codes mean they'll swap out even, or are their mods to make, parts to swap out?
