Water
I assume you are talking Sebring here. Which model? Coupe? Sedan? Convertible? What year?
I assume the puddle on the driver's side is inside the car. Near the heater outlet? Near the door?

That doesn't sound like it's coming through the heater. You may need to start removing things to see if you can figure out where the water is coming in. Do you usually park on level ground? If so, the chances are the leak is somewhere above where you find the puddle. If not, the water may be migrating down to that spot from elsewhere.
Start looking just above the puddle for trails left by the water.
You may want to lift the top off the windshield and check the condition of the seals there. They are designed to channel water down and away from the interior.
Could also be coming in from the cowl area. That's a bit of a disassembly job involving removal of the wiper arms, but it may be worth the effort.
