The water only appears in this area. When I opened the door, I noticed water leaking right at this spot under the passenger door seal.

Thoughts on what the leak is???
 

Any idea what this could be?? The seal maybe?? And how would I fix??

It could be the door seal, especially if you have driven at speed through puddles or driving rain storms. It could also be entering from the air conditioning system. Check the door seal (weatherstripping) for its entire length and replace if necessary. A replacement should be available from your dealer or possibly from aftermarket sources such as rockauto.com or other online sources. Also check the A/C system drain. Look under the hood on the passenger side of the car for a small rubber hose that comes out of the firewall, turns down and then just ends. If you can reach it, squeeze and massage it gently with your hand. You will probably see leaves and other debris fall out as you do so. That should open up that drain and allow water to run out rather than into the interior of the car.

Drying out the carpeting once it gets wet can be a chore. If you have a wet-dry shop vac, use it to suck up as much water as you can. Then put a fan in the car and let it blow over the wet rug to dry it completely. You want it dry to the touch even when pressing with your fingers. It may take a few days to get there.
