wiring diagram for 2004 sebring convertible
My airbag light is on, and I have found two disconnected wires under the passenger seat. One is light blue with a yellow stripe and one is light blue with a green stripe. They have broken away from a yellow connecter with two solid yellow wires, but I don't know which light blue wire attaches to which yellow wire. Does anyone know which wire connects to which, or where I can get a wiring diagram? (The dealer says they have a repair kit for $105!)
The light blue with yellow stripe will go to the hole #3 (closest to the light green with dark green wire in hole #2) The remaining wire goes in the remaining hole. (hole #4).
These are for the seat belt tensioners, which are "pyrotechnical" devices which snug up the seat belts in the event of airbag deployment. When working on these devices, you would be well advised to disconnect the battery and wait 30 minutes before starting to work on them. You don't want to accidentally fire one of these bad boys off.
Wiring diagrams are in the factory service manual, and occupy a couple hundred pages. Additional information and diagrams pertaining to the convertible are in a supplement to the main service manual.

Thank you for your excellent reply. I would've disconnected the battery, but I wouldn't have known to wait for 30 minutes. I'll try putting the light blue with yellow stripe in hole number three and the light blue with green stripe in hole number four. They will both connect to yellow wires. My only concern is that the side of the connector with the two yellow wires in the 3 and 4 holes has no light green with dark green wire in it. Holes 1 and 2 are empty. Should that make a difference?
All I know is what I see on the wiring diagram in my copy of the service manual. Check to see if there are any stray wires floating around. The connector may have been damaged when somebody jammed something under the seat.
