Wont start just a whinning noise
The car had no issues till a few months ago...I over corrected myself and wrecked the car...Actually right at the house it was still running had it pulled out and was driving it home when it quit...When i turn the key it just makes a whinning noise with never starting...Could the car jump time or is it something deeper than that..

A timing belt driven motor, at 16 years old and a sudden impact(of sorts). IF you are getting a rapid spin of the motor from the starter with what seems like little compression of normal starting, then I would be concerned about a snapped (broken) timing belt. It's been a LONG time since I had a 3.0 to remember if they were an interference valve train motor or not. IF so, then you're looking at major work with valvetrain beyond just doing a replacement timing belt.
