Default 2005 300 Touring Grill Replacement help!

I want to change my grill. I don't have a repair manual yet,so can somebody tell me what is the correct way to get to the lower / bottom screws on the grill. The styrofoam piece needs removed to access them but I've already torn a piece off while trying to remove it.

Hi
Have you removed the bumper or trying to do it from the top? You need to remove the complete bumper. 3x plastic rivets in the wheel house (each side), and then 1x bolt behind that (each side) holding the bumper up, then plastic clips on top and a row of bolts along the bottom. Then you just tap it forward and off it comes, you will then need to disconnect the headlamp washer pipe and wiring plug. Then you will see the wiring intertwined with the foam and the washer hose clipped in so remove this. It’s then just 2 more screw that hold the foam in place. You can do the hole job in 30 minutes I do about 1 a month fitting the startech grill or what we call the Bentley grill as it looks like a Bentley.
Regards,Merlin
