Default 2006 300 touring 3.5. Hard start low shaky idle after rocker arm fix

I joined this forum to seek some advice. I inherited a 2006 Chrysler 300 touring from a family member that had the dreaded rocker arm tap very badly. I purchased a new set and proceeded to install seeing how it looked to be an easy fix. I installed them while also making sure the timing was correct. After installed the car now does not want to start and while doing so cranks over very horribly sounding. The car will idle very low and shakes the entire car. I’ve checked my work over and over electrical connections looked for leaks etc. only code the car is throwing is for egr and it was doing that before all of this. I will also say the car was starting before this but sounded kinda bad still. Anyone have any advice on what to check?
